The Colleagues Theatre Company

was founded by the actress Catherine Wolf with the admirable – and valuable – aim of producing work that focuses in subject matter on older people and in casting well-seasoned performers. It is a theatre of the venerable. It’s remarkable to see so many once prominent and still capable actors on the same stage.

In the rich bitch role of the doctors wife Catherine Wolf convulses the group with her caustic wit, but her song of loneliness (" I live alone ") shoots chills up the old cartilage column

" and Catherine Wolf whose elegant sharp-witted performance is a special pleasure."

JIM O'QUINN

THE VILLAGER

Catherine Wolf Black and White Portrait

"Catherine Wolf also stands out as a Peridontist's wife who's frustrations fuel a caustic wit which she uses to wither herself as much as those she directs it against."

Roderick Faber

The Village Voice

The Mad Woman
